Trisik Beach in Kulon Progo Regency, Yogyakarta


One of the most famous beaches in Kulon Progo Regency is called Trisik. In fact, lots of tour agencies recommend it to everyone! The reason is that they won’t miss the opportunity to watch the stunning sunset.

As for the facilities, Trisik Beach comes with several traditional eateries selling various snacks and foods. These include the refreshing drink “young coconut” or “Kelapa Muda”. Another allure in Trisik Beach is the presence of fish auction center managed by local fishermen. That means tourists can buy those fresh fishes at cheap prices! It is because bargaining is quite possible there.

For those coming from Adisucipto International Airport, they may spend about 1 hour and 30 minutes to get to Trisik Beach. It is because the distance is 37 km. Once arriving at Galur Sub-District, tourists only need to head to Banaran Village where the beach is located. In fact, due to the easy accessibility, there is no need to hire a guide at all!
